The ship is made by artist Steen Kalsing.
The sculpture is made of bronze, which is patinated dark and green and it has beautiful, individual, polished details.
The ship i mounted on a square, black, polished granite plint 9X9X9 cm

Rock carvings are an archaeological term for images of people, animals, objects, and symbols of a geometric or more abstract type, which are carved, cut, ground or painted on mountain sides,  rocksurface and also on free-standing stones.
This bronze version of a rock carving motif of a ship is found ind the largest number on Bornholm ind Denmark, and dates all the way back to the Bronze Age.
On Bornholm which is an island ind Denmark, they immediately found the largest collection of rock carvings with this kind of motifs, in the northern part of the island, where the rocks are most exposted.
They often appear on stones at burial mounds.

The sculpture is handmade and produced in Denmark.
It is stamped with the artist's name and Denmark.
