Venus from Willendorf wine stopper 11 cm

The sculpture on the stopper is made as a replica of the Venus of Willendorf , also known as the Woman of Willendorf, which is originally an 11.1 cm high statuette of a woman carved from an oolitic lime stone and coated with red ocher from ca. DKK 28,000 – DKK 25,000
It was discovered in 1908 at a Palaeolithic settlement near Willendorf in Austria, by archaeologist Josef Szombathy.
Stiig Kalsing is the man behind the replica here, in bronze like a wine cork. He has also made a larger sculpture of Venus for NOK 1,400.
